This picture is for my sister Jenny! Love you!

I am Heather, a quintessential southern girl. I grew up on a family farm deep in the heart of Texas. I currently live in Houston with my big city husband and two awesome kids. My daily life is filled with being a busy mama and a registered nurse. I am a modern girl with a homespun twist, a little bit of June Cleaver with a splash of Carrie Bradshaw. I am passionate about creating a cozy home filled with special memories. I love buttercream icing, make-up, travel, holidays, fashion, event planning, and Paris. This little blog is place for me to share ideas, inspirations, recipes, and travel experiences. I appreciate your visit and I am so happy you are here!

That cowgirl wedding so so cute! Love it.
ReplyDeleteLOVE these!! Maybe because I am a small town, Texas girl too! What part of Texas did you grow up in?
ReplyDeleteI was in a wedding a couple of years ago and we wore cowboy boots under our bridesmaid dresses! SO CUTE!!
XOXO
I used to be able to get away with cowboy boots as a kid and I loved them. Now I don't think I could. I'd stick out in LA :( I think ladies who pull it off look adorable though!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Thanks for your sweet comment on my 4th of July post ♥

Cowgirls Forever... Love it!!
ReplyDeleteI love the cowgirl wedding! I may just have to wear my cowboy boots at my wedding!!
ReplyDeleteHi Heather, darling! That cowgirl wedding is the cutest! I was a "cowgirl" (sorta) too. I always wanted a horse as a child, but we lived in the suburbs. I begged my whole childhood long. I put horse pictures up on the wall of my bedroom. I drew horse pictures. I pretended to be a horse on the playground (embarrassing I know .. mind you, I was little!) When I was in highschool, we moved to eight acres and an apple orchard and my dad bought me a Tennessee Walker. I rode and ran and jumped and had pretty much the time of my life. Then, when boys became a bigger part of my life than horses, I kind of started to lose a little of my horse-fever, but even now, I love to go to stables somewhere and ride every autumn ;) xoxo
ReplyDeleteThat last picture is ADORABLE!!!!!!! I love the little foot! So cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for linking up for Oh, How Pinteresting! I hope you do it again next week!!!!
