Obsession: Luxurious Lavender

(via)
Ah, I love the smell of lavender.  My love affair with lavender goes back to childhood.  My Mom loved English Lavender products and, she occasionally shared those with me.  Growing up, to have something that smelled so lovely seemed like a splurge to me.  To this day, the sight and smell of lavender evokes nostalgia and thoughts of luxury.

I think we are all guilty of falling into the daily grind.  If we aren't careful life starts to feel like the movie "Groundhog Day".  We need to remind ourselves to find beauty and pleasure in small rituals of everyday life.  Lighting a candle, using bubble bath or bath salts, wearing perfume, buying fresh flowers, slipping scented sachets into drawers...when I take time to add a little luxury to my daily routine, I feel fantastic.  You just feel different, right?  I feel prettier, calmer, and even more balanced.

Lavender is a perfect way to add beauty and luxury to your everyday life.  The best thing about lavender is that it known to calm, soothe, and relax.  I want to share with you a few of my favorite lavender products, and new ones we can try together.
I love LolliaLollia is "luxurious and romantic, featuring beautifully sophisticated handcremes, perfumes , bubble baths, bathing salts, and other high end bath and body products."  The Lollia "Relax" product line combines lavender and honey.  It smells heavenly!

I have been a Caswell Massey fan for a really long time.  Caswell Massey almond soap is to die for!  Keep a lavender scented sachet in your lingerie drawer, closet, and suitcase when it is not in use.

"You'll love the many ways you can use this natural scented lavender water. A few drops add a touch of scent for bath water, bed linens and lingerie. And it's perfect as a final hair rinse or facial tonic, especially those with troubled skin."
