Pinterest-ing Wednesday: Home Office Ideas

(via)
Good morning friends!  You know today is one of my favorite days!  I love linking-up with Michelle of The Vintage Apple for "Oh, How Pinteresting Wednesday"!  This day is about sharing your favorite pins from Pinterest.  I have a serious Pinterest addiction, and find SO many inspiring ideas there.  Today I want to share with you the pins I have been collecting for my dream home office.  Keep in mind, Brian has the study...this room is for me!  I need a place for my "inbox", filing, blogging, holiday planning, school Room-Mom projects, and CRAFTS!  A place for Mama to really get organized!  I love different elements of all of these images.  Let me know what you think!

Day Tripper: A Sexy Manhattan Summer

(via)
Hello friends!  I recently added Summer and the City to my summer reading list.  The cover is adorable!  The second I unpacked this book, I began dreaming of Manhattan in the summer.  There is something so glamorous and sexy about warm nights in a big city.  I decided I would take a quick trip to NYC via Big City Belle.  The best part about this trip is that you get to come along!

Pink and Green Thursday: Beautiful

(via)
Hello friends!  I am linking-up today with Trish of Pink Preppy Lilly Lover for Pink and Green Thursday!  I prepared a lovely Parisian pink and green post, that is unfortunately not cooperating.  Exhale.  (I am either... A.  Still in my pajamas growling at my computer or B.  Listening to Mozart, having a glorious day.)  I will instead share a few sweet images that I find very beautiful.  I hope you have a wonderful day full of beauty!

Pinterest-ing Wednesday: Cowgirl Up

(via)
Cowgirl up!  Snicker.  What does that even mean?  I honestly don't really know.  However, I am cowgirlin' up today for the WILDLY popular "Oh, How Pinterest-ing Wednesday" with Michelle of The Vintage Apple.  Put your cowgirl boots on Michelle!

I've shared with you that I was raised on a farm.  We should establish that this farm was in the middle of NOWHERE!  As a teenager, growing up in a small town seemed like a fate worse than death.  It was BORING!  Twenty-one years ago, I graduated from high school and left the country life behind.  I put away my cowgirl boots, and put the pastures, garden, fruit trees, and the cows in the rear-view mirror.  I never looked back...until lately. Are we always on a slow gravitational pull to who we once were?  Every now and then, I miss the slow crawl of time and the simplicity of country life.  I miss how green the air smells, the wide-open spaces, and the early morning rooster.  (Sentimental sigh here)  But mostly, I miss my COWGIRL BOOTS!  Was I a cowgirl?  I don't think so.  I was a country girl.  I have stepped in more cow poop than anyone I currently know, and that counts for something!  Luckily for me, cowgirl chic has crept into current fashion...even in the big city.  Cowgirl up!

Another dress for cowgirl boots!

I love these boots!  I would wear these with a little dress on a summer night or, with a sweater and jeans in the winter.

How cute are these cowgirl products?

Style Inspiration: I Heart Gingham

(via)
I recently shared with you my dream of having a romantic picnic, and my quest for a picnic basket.  If you missed my Summer Romantic Picnic post, you can see it here. Well, I have chosen this cutie pie picnic basket, and it is on the way!  I saw it the latest Southern Living magazine on a page dedicated to GINGHAM!

Isn't this the most adorable, preppy cruiser ever?  It has an adorable name also...Debutante Cruiser!  I am loving all things gingham, but mostly I want to WEAR gingham!

What would a style inspiration post be without a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes?  Avery and I saw these babies in Nordstrom.  Gorgeous!  Avery named them "picnic blanket shoes".  Doesn't every southern girl dream of gingham Louboutins'?

This navy gingham shirt from Anthropologie has stolen my heart, and earned a place in my closet.  I plan to tie it up and, wear it with shorts.  Could I wear it in the fall with jeans and distressed brown boots?

I love the green one, too!  How cute would this be with red or bright pink lipstick?  I hope you love gingham as much as I do.  If you incorporate any gingham into your wardrobe, send me a picture!
